Peace of Mind PetSitting, LLC is a FULL TIME PROFESSIONAL Pet Sitting Service based in Aiken, SC, owned and operated by an experienced Professional Pet Sitter, Nancy Woodward. We have a small family business, and staff, who are active in the care of pets for our company. We occassionally use experienced Independent Contractors to provide services for us.

As an owner and caregiver for Peace of Mind Pet Sitting, LLC  it is my goal that you go to work and  travel with the confidence and  Peace of Mind that your pets’ and home will be given the very best care possible while you are away.

Nancy is a certified Veterinary Assistant and works closely with several groups that deal specifically with the care and emotional well-being of companion animals. She is involved with several local rescue groups and does Dog Rescue, and provides Foster homes for these dogs until a permanent home can be found. She regularly takes part in continuing education classes and conferences, and advances her knowledge and skills in animal care & services.

We live in the area that we serve and use local animal hospitals for our own pets when needed. We do much of our own care for our two Chihuahua's, Polo & Archie,  and our cat, Casper. 

If you do not currently have pet professionals to care for your family pet we will be happy to share several referrals in our service area or close to your home. My goal, for your family pet(s), is to provide excellent professional care for all of their needs.

 When your pets are in our care they are our family too. When you become a treasured client of POMP, we work together to insure that your fur kids are safe and receive excellent, loving care when you must be away from them, whether at work, on vacation,  or other trips out of town.

We provide Professional Bathing Services for your pets while they are in our care, and  as needed.

Peace of Mind Petsitting, LLC is bonded, fully insured and owner / family operated. We provide custom, client designed/focused, care for your companion animals in YOUR home or in our home. We have Mighty Mutts Day Camp & Overnight Camp in our home on a daily basis!  Love, care, companionship and entertainment are provided for you when you can't be there. Personalized in-home and at-home pet sitting is a unique customized service for both you and your pet(s). Your pets can stay at your home or ours, seven days a week, and follow their regular family-environment / routine, with sights, smells and sounds they know and feel safe and comfortable with. ALL animals we accept for Day Camp in our home are required to be up-to-date with all shots and are screened for behavioral compatibility before they can be registered for Day or Overnight Camp.

 Our GOAL is to provide excellent care of your family pet and home when you must travel or work long hours. Peace of Mind Petsitting’s in-home care is designed for the pet parent that wants their pets to remain happy and comfortable in their home, sleeping in their bed. We realize that nothing can take your place and no pet is totally happy being away from its human, so our goal and purpose is to provide the very best care for your companion animal(s) when you must be away. We strive to be the very best substitute for you, while you are away that they could possibly find.  Our Home Environment Day Camp is the next best thing to being at home, if your pet cannot be left at home alone.

Peace of Mind Petsitting provides care for your pet(s) according to your guidelines and instructions you set out for us. We get to know your pet as an individual and often observe subtle changes in them that can warn of discomfort or illness and possibly ward off health problems before they happen. We care for all approved friendly pets you call family, regardless of their size or breed. Your pets are your children; we understand that, as ours are to us as well. We will look out for the best interest of your pets and for their, and your, Peace of Mind.

Some companion animals and their owners prefer for their pets being kept at our home. Whether you elect to bring your family pet to us or would rather they be cared for in your home; POMP will give them the same special care they deserve. With us, they will be in a warm home environment with heat or AC and constant attention.

Your privacy, and the safety of your pet & home, are our prime concern! We carefully guard your keys, codes, personal information, and lock all doors upon entering and exiting your home. Our safety, and the safety of your pets and security of your home, mandates that we do NOT hide or use hidden keys, nor rely solely on garage door openers.

We do not rent or sell your email, home address, or personal information.   We respect your privacy and do not use our clients for references without permission. Your privacy is important to us.

Our Business

Peace of Mind Petsitting was started by Nancy Woodward in 2003 as a part-time business, and soon grew too large, and a FULL-TIME LLC was born in 2005. Our company consists only of experienced Pet Sitters, who provide PROFESSIONAL  services with a quality of care & experience that you will not find in a relative, neighbor, or the kid down the street, and we provide a Home environment at our location, where a pet feels as close to home as possible, very unlike a typical kennel environment.  We do not crate dogs, (except at feeding time!)  Dogs who come here have ample space to run & play in fenced yards, and friends to play with, on any given day. We have four different Play yards to separate dogs, if needed.

 Our business has grown & continues to grow out of our combined love for animals, and an intense  desire to provide PROFESSIONAL PET CARE SERVICES to pets & their owners in our local area.  We are growing each & every year, and are expanding our services for you, as we grow, so that we might meet your changing needs.

PAYMENT:  We accept cash, checks, VISA, MC, and Discover and PayPal.   You may use a debit or credit card  at our location or by phone. We NO LONGER accept AMEX cards.

*NOTE- Cancellations are NOT REFUNDABLE.  A credit ONLY will be made on your account with us, for you to use for future services.  THIS INCLUDES CREDIT CARDS used for services!  You will NOT be able to get credit back on your card, ONLY on your account with us!

***You may also use credit cards on Pay Pal; however, please add 5 %  to cover fees,  to your payment.

***A 50 % Deposit is due at time of booking a VACATION SERVICE or HOLIDAY SERVICE;all other services / payments are due BY THE START OF SERVICES.
