Temperament
A Temperament Test and Pre-Registration Evaluation, is performed on every new dog before they can attend Day or Overnight Camp.   Overly aggressive dogs will not be allowed, nor will dogs that the staff cannot handle safely.

Vaccinations
We require up to date DHLPP (distemper, parvo), kennel cough (bordetella), and rabies vaccinations.  You may bring them with you or have your Vet them fax them to us at (803) 649-2287. * NO EXCEPTIONS- All Dogs Must Have ALL SHOTS!

Flea Control
Dogs that attend "Mighty Mutts Day Camp" must be free of fleas, ticks, and ear mites. If your pet is found to have fleas or ticks, we will bathe them with our flea and tick shampoo at your expense. Please have your vet put your pet on a preventative prior to starting camp.

Spaying/Neutering
Male dogs older than 6 months must be neutered. Female dogs older than 6 months must be spayed. SHOW / BREEDING dogs are ONLY ALLOWED upon advance approval and NEVER if dog is in heat.  If female dog comes in season while at our location, the owner will be contacted to pick up the dog.

Feeding and Medication
We  feed day care dogs daily at 7 AM and 4 PM, if you provide it, at no charge. If you prefer, or forget to bring your own, we will provide our food for $1 per meal. We will medicate your pet per your instructions at no charge.

Reservations
Sleepover space is limited, and reservations are strongly recommended. Please notify us as soon as possible of any change of plans. Cancellations must be reported 24 Hours before the scheduled check-in date to avoid a late cancellation fee of one night’s stay. During major holidays 48 Hours prior notice is required. “No Shows” will be charged for the entire stay. We may require a credit card number to hold a reservation.

* ONLY PRE-APPROVED DOGS may make reservations.

* DROP-IN Dogs are evaluated on-site at time of drop-in, and must meet all requirements and have SHOT RECORDS with them!! NO EXCEPTIONS. *Only when space is available, so CALL AHEAD~!

Overnight Stays
You may bring a towel or old shirt containing your scent, but please do not bring bedding or toys. We provide bedding, bowls, and toys for all campers. Personal items, such as toys, are not guaranteed to be returned home, as they may be destroyed in playtime.

Sick / Injured Pets
We reserve the right to refuse a visit if your pet arrives sick, not up to date on vaccinations, or with a flea, tick, or ear mite condition. If a pet gets sick or injured while here, we first call the dog’s owner, listed emergencycontact(s),  the owners vet, and finally, if needed, an emergency vet, should we deem it necessary.

Departure
Please be prompt about picking up your dog at the end of the day. We reserve the right to charge a late fee if we have to wait for you. Please call if you cannot make it on time; if you call prior to closing time you’ll avoid the additional charge.
